Check before you speak (please). By István Lengyel.
I would like to clarify one thing regarding the memoQ server. I don't know who is spreading this false information and what's the reason behind it (just lack of information or wanting to damage our business), but today was the second time that I heard that the memoQ server's server-based translation memories cannot be used simultaneously by several translators, unlike those of the SDL Trados TM Server. This is absolutely untrue (in private communications I used other words), as even memoQ 1.0 that was released in 2006 was already capable of such TM sharing. So this is just to refute any unjustified gossip on the memoQ server missing any basic functionality. I think it's best if we clarify this early, and if anybody tells you this, please forward them to us - we're happy to show how it works, and we'd be even happier if people who claim themselves experts in translation technology checked whatever they are talking about. If the memoQ server did not do this, it would be a bit like buying a mobile phone that is very smart and has all sorts of apps, but cannot place phone calls. Please spread the word and help us rectifying this. Thank you.
