Kilgray Company Meeting 2011, Budapest 2-4 February

The company is growing steadily. Almost 20 people came together for Kilgray's 2011 company meeting in the beautiful office nearby the Parliament. Although the previous office was cooler, allocated to a fancy restaurant, it was good to have this far bigger place with several meeting rooms for this year's coming together.

The three days consisted of intense sessions, brainstorming in small groups, and controverse and lively discussions. We have been briefed on the product roadmap, shared ideas and visions on Kilgray's future, discussed improvements and product lines and had looots of espresso during the breaks. Even portraits of the entire team have been taken sometime inbetween which made me exchange my old one on XING and LinkedIn against the new one.

It was very good to finally meet in person and having the opportunity of getting to know the colleagues better, be it the "old" ones or the new folks in support and marketing. The "food framework" in terms of XXL pizza or nice dinners and lunches at restaurants nearby have been helpful in this respect, too ;-)

I am happy to be part of the team, my decision to set on Kilgray about two years ago when I left SDL Passolo was the right one and I can say that I already look forward to the next event which will be our third memoQfest, again held at the famous Gundel in Budapest. I very much hope to see you all there!
