Kilgray have introduced a 10-lesson course that concentrates on the translation-related functionality in memoQ. The course is free if you have a valid memoQ license and €90 euro if you don’t.
The course comprises the following 10 lessons and an exam:

  • Lesson 1. Setting up a project
  • Lesson 2. Translation 1
  • Lesson 3. Translation 2
  • Lesson 4. Terminology
  • Lesson 5. Quality Assurance
  • Lesson 6. LiveDocs
  • Lesson 7. Understanding memoQ
  • Lesson 8. Tracking changes and exporting files
  • Lesson 9. Working with packages
  • Lesson 10. Working with Online projects

There is an exam at the end of the course and students who pass the exam will be given a certificate. The exam consists of 30 questions and you need to answer 14 or more in order to pass. The exam is based entirely on the lessons.

You can take the course at your own pace but we would recommend doing two or more lessons per week and taking the exam soon after this.

To register for the course you go to: http://kilgray.com/resource-center/online-training and select the link: Register for Online Training course

The course videos were created by Angelika Zerfaß and Loctimize Gmbh. Angelika is one of the leading translation technology trainers. She has been offering training in memoQ since 2008.

We believe that this is an excellent resource and we trust you will find it very useful.
