BeLazy is a technology platform that automates the receipt, management, and delivery of translation projects. It provides ready-made integrations between systems—vendor portals, business management systems, and translation management systems—to help language service providers streamline their translation workflows. The new integration allows users to manage work from both the administrator and linguist views. This means that you can fetch projects from your customer’s memoQ server or cloud and also from your own.
How can you automate workflows when your customers use memoQ server?
To retrieve work from your customer’s translation management system, enter the URL, username, and password you would use to access your customer’s TMS. BeLazy will list the tasks available to you.
BeLazy will then create a project in your business management system (Plunet, XTRF, Protemos) and download the MQOUT package, if available. If not available, you’ll receive the URL for the translator or reviewer to work in WebTrans and the link that checks out the project from the memoQ server in your local copy of memoQ.
Once the translator(s) and the reviewer(s) are done with their tasks, they will proceed to upload the project package to your BMS. BeLazy will then automatically transfer the package to the customer’s memoQ server and close the project in memoQ.
Why integrate BeLazy with memoQ?
Have you ever received a translation package containing several languages and massive files? To make the project management workflow as smooth as possible, memoQ supports a variety of package formats and can also handle packages imported from SDL Trados Studio and STAR Transit. Just publish them on the memoQ server, slice the files into parts and accept the result in BeLazy. In just a few seconds, you will find all the languages and slices in your business management system. Reassign the tasks to translators and reviewers and see them automatically set up in memoQ, based on vendor mapping.
memoQ is among the world's leading translation management systems. The favorite computer-assisted translation tool of many translators around the globe.
